Empowering Communities Through Roller-Skating At Viramaya Sk8 Lyfe, our mission is centered on bringing joy and engagement to underprivileged neighborhoods. Established as a minority women-owned small business in April 2021, we are committed to fostering a sense of community and making a positive impact where it's needed most. Our mobile operation, equipped with 200+ pairs of skates for adults and kids, allows us to bring the excitement of roller-skating to various locations across NYC, particularly focusing on underprivileged neighborhoods lacking recreational resources. Beyond the thrill of roller-skating, our goal is to create memorable experiences that uplift communities. Viramaya Sk8 Lyfe is more than a business; we are a catalyst for positive change. By collaborating with Council Members, Parks and Recreation, the Department of Education, and hosting private events, we actively contribute to the betterment of communities. We believe that every neighborhood, regardless of its economic background, deserves access to enriching experiences. Our mission is to empower underprivileged neighborhoods through the joy of roller-skating. By bridging gaps and promoting inclusivity, we strive to create a positive impact, one roll at a time.
